Feeder Cattle Auction Sept 25 , 2026

Compared to the last special two weeks ago, there were few good comparisons of calves and yearlings with weight groups having limited comparisons, but all classes selling with a firm to higher undertone. Overall a lot of good quality calves in the offering with most of the calves unweaned or short weaned but selling with good demand. The biggest draft of the day was 109 heifers weighing 1033 lbs at 269.25. Demand was moderate to good, best on the calves. Feeder cattle futures closed on Friday with the front three months gaining 3.17 to 3.90 higher. Slaughter cows sold 3.00-7.00 lower.
